The Ideal Candidate
At this stage in our growth, we’re seeking an individual that’s not just the most talented, but also that is best suited to our corporate culture.
1. Millennial - A confident, ambitious and youthful individual, aged between 25 and 33 years old.
2. Experience - NOT in the number of years, but in the quality and quantity of responsibilities handled. Someone who has worked with people, loves working with people, and has some experience with recruiting talent. Experience with working with HR tools and technology is essential.
3. World View - Well exposed, well-traveled, reads books and has an opinion on a wide variety of subjects.
4. Creative - An innately creative thinker that blends strategy with implementation
5. Passion - An energetic individual, who displays a sufficient amount of passion and verve for life.
6. Location - For good work/life balance, lives within the core mainland (Ikeja, Maryland, Anthony etc.), not further out places like Ipaja, Berger, Satellite Town, Festal etc.). Can also live around Ajah, Agungi or between 1st -6th roundabout, NOT Epe or Lagos Business School area.
7. Communication - Excellent speaking and writing skills, no “H” factor please.
8. Gender: Doesn’t matter.
9. Remuneration: Depends on the candidate.
Objectives
In addition, the HR team lead we seek would:
1. Build a formidable HR department that supports the work we do within the strategic marketing and creative industry.
2. Help position the client as a top destination for the best marketing, design and research corporation in Nigeria.
3. Recruit talent that would help us achieve our objective of dominating the marketing, research and brand design space in Nigeria.
4. Nurture and grow the talent and imbibe a culture of passion, excellence and results.
5. Oversee all HR responsibilities (including administration and compliance issues) and implement programs that would radically enhance the well-being of all team members.
Responsibilities
1. Drive and spearhead the vision for growth in Human Resource
2. Developing and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnel
3. Drive the synergy between organizational strategy and team operations
4. Drive the distilling of our Culture and Values to team performance and behaviour
5. Planning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR department
6. Implement strategic organizational change to increase productivity and employee satisfaction
7. Demonstrate advanced Human resource management skills
8. Structure competitive benefits packages suitable to our organization structure
9. Keep the Organization informed of government policy and best H.R practices
10. Structure team performance appraisal and measurement policy
